- To correctly display track details in Russian, Chinese, Japanese or other Asia languages in your PC as well as in an MP3 player, you will need to change the language settings under Regional and Language Options in Windows Control Panel. Follow the steps below according to your operating system.

Note: The procedures below may also be necessary even if the operating system language is the same as the language that you want to display. For example, you are using a Chinese version of Windows XP such as the one below, and you want to display music track details in Chinese.

Settings in Windows XP:
- Log on into your PC as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
- Click on Start, Control Panel, and then click on Regional and Language Options.
- Click on the Advanced tab, under Language for non-Unicode programs, select the language version of non-Unicode programs that will be used, for example, Chinese(PRC).

If the preferred language, for example, Chinese (PRC), is not listed,
you will need to install the Supplemental Language pack shipped
with Windows XP. To install it, click on the Language tab, and
select a proper Supplemental Language pack.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to reboot the system. Click Yes to complete the change.
Settings in Windows 2000:
- Install the Multi-language support
- Log on into your PC as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
- Click on Start, Control Panel, and double click Add/Remove Programs
- On the Windows Setup tab, click to select the Multi-language Support check box, and then click OK.
- When you are prompted to restart your PC, click Yes.
- Log on into your PC as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
- Click on Start, Control Panel, and double click Regional Options.
- On the General tab, under 'Language setting for the system', click on the language that you want to
use, for example, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or Japanese.
- Click on the Advanced tab, under Language for non-Unicode programs, select the language version
of non-Unicode programs that will be used, for example, Chinese(PRC).

- Click on the 'Input Locales' tab and choose Add from 'Input Language'. From the
'Add Input Language' dialog, select 'Chinese (PRC)' and 'Chinese (Simplified) MS-PinYin-98.

- Click on the OK button for confirmation. Upon complete, you should be able to see the option available in
'Input Language' field.


- Click on 'Apply' and follow by 'OK' from the Regional Options dialog. Reboot your PC for the setting to
take effect.
- Open Creative MediaSource and select the audio files which you would like to edit, and use the
following key sequence ('Shift + 'Alt') to call out the 'Language Bar'.
Settings in MediaSource:
You can also set the preferred language in Creative MediaSource. In Creative MediaSource, click Tools, and then click Creative Media Device tab (or NOMAD Jukebox 2/3/ZEN). If you have flash memory MP3 players such as MuVo NX, MuVo TX etc, highlight your MP3 player in Creative MediaSource, then click the Settings tab.
Next, click the box next to Reformat the track information to this language, and then select the required language from the drop down menu. Click OK.
If you then start the audio player you will see the ID3-tag in the correct alphabet.
